Capturing your BIG day on canvas!

Sure photos are great and videos too, but a painting is a unique visual interpretation of reality that lasts a lifetime! What better keepsake can you ask for, right? And as an added bonus, this service is LIVE and serves as entertainment to all your guest. Watch your guest be in awe by your love, and your piece of artwork that is completely one of a kind to your love story.

The Process

Arrival is around 10 am to begin setting up. You can decide ahead of time on my painting location(s) or you can let me decide upon arrival. My set up includes an easel, a small table, paint basket, iPad stand, and chair.

After the step up is done, I start by painting the "underpainting" sketch and decide on the layout of the art piece. Once the layout sketch is complete, I begin to fill in the painting background from back to front leaving the details for later. All the essential parts of the painting are chosen by you! You can customize what you would like to be shown, or if you would like me to decide.

Once your live moment of choice occurs real time (first kiss, first dance, etc.), I capture it first on camera, and then I begin to paint it on canvas making the painting complete! Typically I finish the painting around 8 pm, but that is primarily dependent on your photographers' schedule so we can capture it on camera.

It's time for your reveal and you get to choose how this goes! We can make it public or private. After your reveal, your painting is up on display for all your guest to see!

Includes custom acrylic painting on wrap canvas and shipping of finished painting if needed.
Packages also include travel up to 25 miles around Clinton, North Carolina, set up at your venue (easel, lighting, tables for paints, etc.), and early arrival to the venue, customization of desired painting subject (wedding first kiss, first dance, etc.), an almost complete painting by the end of the night, and touch up at my studio the following 4 to 6 weeks to finish the painting.
If your venue is outside of the 25 mile radius from Clinton, North Carolina, it will be an additional $1.50 per mile for each additional mile over 25 miles. For example, if your venue is 50 miles from Clinton, North Carolina, your travel cost will be $37.50 (25 miles x $1.50).
The prices above do not include travel outside of a 25 mile radius from Clinton, North Carolina. Events over 2 hours from Clinton, North Carolina may require other arrangements for travel/stay.
To book a live painting, a 25% non-refundable deposit must be made along with a signed contract to hold your date. The remaining total may be paid in full or split up into 3 payments until 2 months before the live painting event.
